Want to be part of the action and amongst the fun while gaining event experience? We would like to invite you to join the Blackmores Volunteer team.
Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and help bring the event industry back to life. Get involved on Sunday 19 September 2021.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!
As a Blackmores Volunteer you will be working with event staff, charities, community and sporting groups, students, and other individual volunteers. There are numerous locations around the 42.195km course and wide range of volunteer roles available on event day (Sunday 19 September) as well as in the lead up to event day at the ASICS Event Expo from Thursday 16 September to Saturday 18 September.
No experience is required for most roles – just positive energy, a friendly attitude and willingness to work within a team and take directions from other volunteers, team leaders, and supervisors.
- Event Date: Sunday, 19 September 2021
- Pre-Event (ASICS Event Expo): Thursday 16 September to Saturday 18 September
- Event Times: Volunteer shifts are approximately 6-8 hours and fall anywhere between 4:30am – 1pm (pending role and location).
You will be able to choose your preferred role/location. We will do our best to allocate accordingly – however, we cannot always guarantee first preferences. Find details of event roles and locations below.
ASICS EVENT EXPO
Pre-event Registration and Packet Pick up is at Lower Town Hall, George St, Sydney. Participants collect their race bib, browse official merchandise, running equipment, partner offers and drop off their event day bag to access post-race.
Multiple shifts will be available across the three days of expo.

The course covers 42km of road throughout Sydney with volunteers posted at various locations, including the start/finish/recovery venues and on course.

Volunteer applications will open a little later than usual this year (July)! You will find the link to the application form here when it is live. We will also email the application form to everyone who is subscribed to the volunteer newsletter.
